Once your family research has expanded past three or four generations it can very quickly become tricky to remember how everyone is related. This is where a family tree can be extremely helpful, as it offers a clear visual representation of everyone’s place in the family and helps keep track of which generation is which. It is also really nice to see your name, and those of your children or grandchildren, connected to your grandparents, great-grandparents and beyond, illustrating the life of your family over hundreds of years in one single image. Children often find family trees easy to understand, making them a great tool for getting younger family members interested in their ancestors.
The size, level of detail, and number of generations included on a family tree are entirely up to you – you might want to a full family tree, showing all your ancestors back five or six generations, or you might prefer a more detailed tree tracing one particular surname back multiple generations. I can either work from research you have already done or start from scratch.
Once I have drawn up your family tree and you have chosen a suitable title your tree is professionally printed, ensuring that it will last for future generations.
